Vaccine for
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus The FDA has also approved a vaccine for the virus, which causes Feline AIDS. FIV is an infection that attacks the immune system of cats. Up to 1 in 12 cats tests positive for FIV. In cats that are at risk or clinically ill, the infection rate rises to as high as 15%. Since FIV infection results in immune deficiency, there are no classic or pathognomonic signs associated with the disease itself. In fact, many FIV positive cats have no specific clinical signs. If you would like more information on the vaccine or the clinical trials performed, please log on to: http://www.felovaxfiv.com. After dispensing
well over 500,000 vaccines with out a single anaphalacytic reaction,
the FDA has approved this vaccine for national distribution.
Vaccination reduces the risk of death to almost zero and reduces your
treatment by 80 to 90%. Initially your dog needs 2 vaccinations, then
an annual booster. Using
the same freezing equipment and technique used in human medicine,
warts, polyps, skin tags, and other skin masses can be removed |
